Dred! What can I say about the woman I considered so very Special! This person who loved to laugh at playing cards and her "vissard" or the lady I taught to fly a kite just two years ago on Popham beach or the great lobster feeds on the deck at the A Frame or as we grew older the naps we took together on that same deck in the warm aftenoon sunshine. How I will miss you Dred!!

I worked with Millie many, many years ago at Mercy Hospital. I always looked forward to the trips to the A frame and the trips to Conneticut. I especially enjoyed a trip to New York City where she proudly showed off where her Daughter and Son-in-law sang at the Metropolitan Opera. I will miss this beautiful person.

I would like to express my deep, deep sympathy to Karen and Nancy for the loss of their beloved Mother Millie. I met Millie years ago at Mercy. We became friends through Joy Rockwell. Joy and I have visited Millie on several occations in Connecticut and in Maine. I truly loved her sense of humor and we had a lot of laughs when we got together with the "girls" up to Phippsburg, which became a yearly treck to meet she and Caroline. Millie will surely be missed. A truly lovely woman. Love you Millie.

She was my girlfriend....I was "her Judith." We spent hours and days sharing, laughing, sometimes crying, telling secrets, and just enjoying our time together. She was one of the most special people I've ever known....I will miss her as long as I live and be forever grateful that I was blessed to know her!

I KNEW MILLIE FOR ALMOST 18 YEARS. WE MET AT MERCY HOSPITAL AND I'LL NEVER FORGET HER LAUGHTER AND LOVE OF LIFE. WE BECAME FAST FRIENDS AND LOVED DOING NEW THINGS TOGETHER. I was so blessed to have found a second grandmother when I met Mildred eleven years ago. What started as a chance meeting at Popham Beach flourished into a beautiful friendship that I will always treasure. Whether I was stopping in CT on my trips back to Maine during college or just chatting on the phone since moving to Pennsylvana I could always feel her love, excitement and interest about what was happening in my life. Mildred's generosity was limitless and the world was certainly a better place just by her presence in our lives.
