WALLINGFORD – Yelva Pedersen, 89, of 22 Tremper Drive, died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. She was the beloved wife of Oluf Pedersen. She was born on October 11, 1917 in Denmark. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Wallingford and was active in church affairs. She was a devoted to her children and granddaughters. In addition to her husband Oluf she is survived by two sons Arne Pedersen and Eric Pedersen and his wife Patricia both of Wallingford, a daughter Kareena DuPlessis and her husband William, two granddaughters Kristen and Erika DuPlessis. She was predeceased by one brother and two sisters. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 235 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford. Burial will be at In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford. Friends and relatives are invited to the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., Wallingford on Sunday, January 28, 2007 from 5 to 7 p.m. It is suggested that gifts in her memory be sent to the Zion Lutheran Church, 235 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford, CT 06492.
