Obituary of Jack (John) White

WALLINGFORD - Jack (John) Edward White, 76, departed this life on August 9, 2019 at his home. Jack was born on October 11, 1942 in Meriden, CT to the late George & Dorothy Nelson White. He was employed by the Wallingford Board of Education for 30 years until his retirement in 2007. He was a movie buff and an avid sports fanatic. Jack was loved immensely by his family and by all who knew him. He was known for his kind heart, big smile, sense of humor and always having a prank up his sleeve.

Jack is survived by his loving children: Christine (Joseph) Farkash and Mike (Torrie) White, as well as his beloved grandchildren: Samantha and Joseph Farkash and Mark and Katelyn White. He will also be greatly missed by his former spouse, Wilma White, with whom he remained the best of friends.

Jack's family will receive relatives and friends at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford, on Wednesday, August 14 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A graveside service will be held immediately following at In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford.
