NORTH HAVEN - Mildred C. McPherson, 85, of North Haven departed this life on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. McPherson. She was born in New Haven, February 15, 1924 a daughter of the late Frank and Fannie DeSantos Cruz. Until her retirement, she was a secretary for the Town of Wallingford. She will be sadly missed by her loving son Robert McPherson of North Haven. A step-son John McPherson of Mississippi, a step-daughter, Catherine McPherson of Wallingford, a step-brother, Robert Hague of St. Louis, MO. She also leaves her sister Evelyn Bass of NY along with several nieces and nephews. She also leaves a special friend Dee Radziunas. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Edmonds and Isabel Zwick. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 19th at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery, 769 Ella Grasso Blvd, New Haven. There are no calling hours.
