Obituary of Christine Kisiel

WALLINGFORD - Christine Kisiel, 57, of Wallingford, beloved wife of Michael Kisiel for 25 years, departed this life on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Masonic Healthcare Center surrounded by her family. Christine was born on April 2, 1952 in Meriden, daughter of Evelyn (Kawecki) Budusky and the late Anthony Budusky. She worked as a Marketing Assistant for Byk USA for 22 years. She was a communicant of the Church of the Resurrection in Wallingford. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling to Aruba, Cape Cod, Europe and Hawaii. She was known for her kindness, sense of humor, infectious laugh and faith. She had a wonderful smile, that could brighten a room. She will be most remembered as a loving Wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, auntie and a friend to many. She will be sadly missed by her husband Mike of Wallingford and her daughter Sherri Mengual Lee of Meriden. She leaves two grandchildren Gavin Lee of Meriden and Bethany Roche of Southwick, MA. She also leaves her mother, Evelyn Budusky of Meriden, One sister, Karen Doolittle and her husband Peter of Wallingford, and one brother, James Budusky and his partner Glenda Owen of Meriden, and a brother-in-law Henry Kisiel and his wife Lisa of Branford along with two nieces, Jessica Lobner and her husband Daniel of Meriden and Allison Roman and her husband Kevin also of Meriden. She is preceded in death by a brother Robert Budusky. She also leaves her beloved pets Rudy and Oscar. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, January 8th from 4 - 7:30 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 9th at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Resurrection in Wallingford those attending the Mass may meet directly at church. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Meriden. The family wishes to thank the staff of Mid-State Medical Center Pavillion B, the Masonicare Hospice Unit, along with the Oncology Staff at Mid-State for the amazing care and compassion given to Christine throughout her illness.
