Obituary of Paula Rita Schiavone

Paula Rita Schiavone, 88, formerly of Wallingford, departed this life on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the MidState Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Weado J. Schiavone. Paula was born on March 21, 1921, in Southington, CT, a daughter of Ralph and Rita (Angelello) Russo. Mrs. Schiavone was a communicant of the Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford. She will be sadly missed by her son: Gerald and his wife Patricia Schiavone of Wallingford; a daughter, Bonita and her husband Thomas Meehan of Venice, FL; her grandchildren: Darryl Meehan of Bridgeport, Ryan Meehan and his wife Jillian of Warwich, RI; 2 step-grandchildren, Richard Lentz of Wallingford and Kerry Lentz-Adkins and her husband Scott of Wallingford; and four great grandchildren: Liam, Finn, and Nina and Rielly. She is preceded in death by four sisters: Anna, Lillian, Helen and Theresa; and a niece Eleanor. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford from 5 - 7:30 PM. Friends are asked to meet directly at church for a mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at Most Holy Trinity Church, 84 North Colony Rd., Wallingford at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
