Daria Cusano, 58, of Wallingford, departed this life on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at her home. She was the loving wife of Dominic Cusano. Daria was born on December 11, 1951, in Meriden, CT, a daughter of John and Mary (Damenski) Veronick. She had worked as a CNA at various facilities throughout Wallingford and Meriden. She was a caring loving wife, daughter and sister. Daria had a great love for her Orthodox religion, her family and her dogs. In addition to her husband and parents, she will be sadly missed by a sister: Elaine Stath of Southington; a brother: Daniel Veronick and his wife Beverly of Durham; her aunt, Lillian Hodkinson of Norwich and several nieces and nephews and her Boston Terrier, Marlee. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents, several aunts and uncles, and her Boston Terrier, Hannah. A funeral will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 10:30 AM at SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 54 Park Ave., Meriden. Interment will follow at the SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery on Westfield Rd., Meriden. There are no calling hours.
