Obituary of Elsie Peretzman

WOODBRIDGE - Elsie Peretzman, 91, of Woodbridge, passed away on October 21, 2009, at the Willows in Woodbridge. She was the loving wife of the late Irving Peretzman. Elsie was born on June 4, 1918, in Aberdeen, SD, a daughter of the late Sol and Fannie (Sherman) Gelblum. She was originally from Wallingford and in later years lived in Delray Beach, FL. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Lynne Meyer of Orange and Cari Peretzman of Lewisville, TX; a son: Thomas Peretzman of Rockville, MD; her adoring grandchildren, Sarah and Andy Bernstein of Cheshire, Amanda and Noah Meyer of Hamden, Rachel Meyer of Orange, Joshua Peretzman of Rockville, MD and Seth Peretzman of Dallas, TX. She was the cherished �GG� of Max Bernstein and Aiden Meyer. She is also survived by her sisters: Bette Katzeff and Hariett Lipsky and a sister-in-law, Sylvia Gelblum. A graveside service will be led by Rabbi Bruce Albert on Friday (TODAY) at 11:30 am at the Beth Israel Cemetery, Dudley Ave., Wallingford. It is suggested that gifts in her memory be sent to the Beth Israel Synagogue, 22 North Orchard St., Wallingford, CT 06492 or the Wallingford Public Library, 200 N. Main St., Wallingford, CT 06492. A period of morning will be held at the home of Lynne and Tom Meyer in Orange, CT on Friday, October 23, 2009 until 5:00 pm, and will resume on Saturday and Sunday until 5:00 pm. The B.C.
