Obituary of Eileen Ruth Lussier
Eileen Ruth (Burns) Lussier, 84 of Wallingford died October 18 surrounded by her family at her home following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Richard Lussier, Sr.
Eileen was born on April 2, 1925 on the family farm in Clinton County, Indiana. She is survived by her sister, Inez Colby and her husband, Dale, of Indiana; a son, Richard Lussier Jr. and his wife, Patricia; and daughters Lizette Story and her husband, George, Shawn Rampulla and her partner Joan, Cheri Bergeron and her husband John, and Suzanne Sieff and her husband, Bob, and by her grandchildren, Malcolm Butler Jr., Jessica Maples, Michelle Lord, Richard Lussier III, Jay Lussier, Kristine Landry, Heather Sprague, John Bergeron Jr., and Gregory Bergeron, several great grand children, two great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Eileen is predeceased by her parents Dorothy Mae (Gochenour) and Dennis Ralph Burns, her daughter Constance and her husband Malcolm Butler, and by her brothers Bill and Joe Burns.
Eileen was most noted for her stories of growing up on her family�s farm in Indiana, her adoration of her family, and her love of animals. She also had a passion for writing poetry, photography, gardening and travel.
The family would like to extend thanks to the staff at MidState Medical Center for the excellent care that was received over the 11 years of illness.
Calling hours will be from 4-7pm on Wednesday, October 21 at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford. Burial will be on Saturday, October 24 in Shelburne, New Hampshire. Friends are encouraged to make donations to their favorite charity in Eileen�s honor.
