WALLINGFORD - Sylvia Fengler, 80, of Wallingford beloved wife of 55 years to Adam Fengler, departed this life on Friday, September 18, 2009 at Mid-State Medical Center. Sylvia was born on June 2, 1929 in New Britain, CT daughter of the late Edward and Mabel Russell. She was a loving homemaker taking care of her family. She owned and operated pioneer crafts and jewelry store. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Wallingford where she was a member of the Ladie's Aide. In addtion to her husband Adam she will be sadly missed by her children: Belinda Jolly and her husband Daniel of MN, Timothy Fengler and his wife Cathy of Wallingford, Jonathan Fengler and his wife Ruth of CA, and Jeffrey Fengler of Wallingford along with 12 grandchildren, and 1 great granchild. She is preceded in death by 4 siblings. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, September 24th from 6 - 8PM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford, CT. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Wallingford. Interment will follow at In Memoriam Cemetery.
