WALLINGFORD - Dorothy Pendred, 69, of Wallingford beloved wife of the late Richard Edward Pendred, departed this life on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Masonic Healthcare Center. Dorothy was born on August 22, 1940 in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late August and Helen (vonDiezelski) Inderdohnen. Until her retirement in 2000 she was employed by Bob's Surplus. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in North Haven. She will be remembered most as a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She will be sadly missed by her children: Richard J. Pendred and his wife Valerie of Cheshire and Michael E. Pendred and his wife Laura of East Haven. She also leaves a brother, Robert J. Inderdohnen of Wallingford, and two sisters, Karen Ellis of Wallingford and Florence Antolini of Meriden, along with 7 beloved grandchildren: Richard E. Pendred of Cheshire, Samantha, Ryan and Michael L. Pendred all of East Haven, and Paul, Shawn, and Cameron Duplessie all of East Haven. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 4 - 7 PM at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A funeral service will be held at Cheshire Bible Chapel, 1103 Waterbury Rd, (Route 70) Cheshire, CT. Interment will follow at In Memoriam Cemetery.
