Elizabeth Sherman, 91, of Wallingford, departed this life on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford. She was the loving wife of the late Edward H. Sherman. Elizabeth was born on November 5, 1917, in Orange, CT, a daughter of Thomas and Mary (Killnan) Brown. She will be sadly missed by her sons: Edward H. Sherman and his wife Elizabeth of Wallingford, Thomas Charles Sherman and his wife Helen of West Haven; a daughter: Gladys Marie Gomez and her husband Roberto of Middletown; and her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Turgeon and her son, William R. Sherman. All services will be private. There are no calling hours.
