Obituary of Isabel G. Sunderland

Isabel G. Sunderland, 94, of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late George B. Sunderland, departed this life on Sunday, August 2, 2009 in Dover, New Hampshire, surrounded by her family. Isabel was born on December 26, 1914 in Milltown, NJ, daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Kuhlthau) Heyl. Isabel was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Wallingford serving on the Church Guild and numerous other committees over the years. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling in several leagues. She enjoyed vacationing at Squam Lake, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Joni Edwards and her husband Marlin of Dallas, TX, and Jeanie Sivigny and her husband Richard of Somersworth, NH. She also leaves four grandchildren: Rob Scarborough Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Michael Sivigny of Lowell, MA, Rich Sivigny of Londonderry, NH and Randy Sivigny of Auburn, NH, along with three great grandchildren: Vivian and Malia Sivigny, and Konrad Scarborough, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be directed to: First Baptist Church, Relatives and friends may call on Friday, August 7th from 4 � 7 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 8th at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church of Wallingford. Interment will follow at In Memoriam Cemetery.
