David Wayne Smith 52 of Forestville, CT. went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 18, 2009, after battling with a long illness. He was born April 22, 1957 in Meriden, Ct. to Albert and Dolores Smith presently of Eden, North Carolina. He was predeceased by his father Albert John Smith, and an older brother Thomas Theodore Smith. He is survived by his mother Dolores Philippi Smith of Eden, North Carolina, brother Kenneth Albert Smith and wife Lynnea Smith of Rockford, Illinois, Brother Bruce Edward Smith and wife Catherine of Wallingford, Conn., sister Kathleen Spencer and husband Avon of Walkertown, North Carolina, and many nieces and nephews, and great-neices and great-nephews. David's remains will be sent and buried in the family's plot in North Carolina.
