EAST HAVEN- Richard Sherman Morrison, 66, departed this life on May 31, 2016 at the Talmadge Park Healthcare Center. He was born in Summit, NJ on August 16, 1949 to the late Ernest and Sylvia Hall Morrison. Richard was a proud graduate of Ohio State University and later worked in sales and marketing. He was also very active in the ROTC. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Joan Mongillo, of thirty years. Besides his wife he leaves two sisters; Jane Farrell of Wallingford and Margaret Charney of East Haddam and two brothers; Robert B. Morrison of Madison and John L. Morrison of Palm Beach, FL. He will be missed by many, especially Russell Monahan, III, to whom he was very close. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. The B.C.
