Obituary of Emelia LaBarrie
Hamden - Emelia LaBarrie, 94, of Hamden, beloved wife of the late Osbert LaBarrie, departed this life unexpectedly on Friday, April 24, 2009 at St. Raphael's Hospital in New Haven.
Emelia was born on June 30, 1914 in San Rafael, Trinidad daughter of the late Francis and Estephanie (Bartolo) Mitchell. She worked as a nurse's aid until her retirement.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Jeanette Bogart of Hamden.
Her remains will be escorted to the Republic of Trinidad by her family where all services will be held. Interment will be in LaProuyse Cemetery in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.
