Wallingford - Julia Kavanagh, beloved wife of the late Thomas Kavanagh was called home to the Lord on February 24 at the age of 91. She was the daughter of Louis and Lena Tanch and a life long resident of Wallingford as well as a member of the First Baptist Church of Wallingford for over 50 years. She leaves behind her darling daughter, Julie (Janie) Schmitt and her husband Donald Schmitt Jr. of Durham, CT, as well as two grandchildren Julie Schmitt-O�Malley of Durham and Donald Schmitt III of Westbrook, CT and four great grandchildren, Kendra O�Malley, Shannon O�Malley, Devon Schmitt and Donald (DJ) Schmitt IV whom she adored. Her family and Lord were everything to her. She also leaves behind her beloved brother�s Elmer Tanch and James Tanch, both of Wallingford and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Louis Tanch, sister�s Martha Fekete, Helen Kosa, Margaret Kosnoff (her twin), Irene Fekete and three nieces and one nephew. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford. The family wishes give Dr. Jeffrey Gimbel MD, Julia Kavanagh�s wonderful physician of many years a heartfelt word of thanks for being so wonderful to her over the years. We appreciate your dedication, hard work and compassion. She could not have had a better physician. Thank you.
