WALLINGFORD - May E. Wooding, 86, of Wallingford died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Portland Care & Rehabilitation Centre. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Wooding. She was born on December 15, 1922 in Meriden, CT, a daughter of the late George A. and Gertrude Millward Pogmore. She was a life long resident of Wallingford. She is survived by a son, Charles N. Wooding of Grand Rapids, MI; two daughters, Bonnie L. Grinvalsky and her husband Richard of Lakeside, CT and Diane M. Burgess and her husband Edward of Portland, CT; a brother, Frank M. Barker and a sister Lucy R. Mickiewicz both of Meriden; and 6 grandchildren: Juliana Grinvalsky, Jonathan and Tiffany Wooding, Daniel Burgess and his wife Laura, Carolyn and David Burgess. She is preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude M. Molloy. Funeral services and burial will be private.
