WALLINGFORD - Alice Polanski, 89, entered into rest on January 23, 2009 at the Masonic Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of Walter Polanski. She was born in Wallingford, May 20, 1919 a daughter of the late George and Mary Matyas. Mrs. Polanski was a life long resident of Wallingford and was a nurse�s aide and had been a communicant of the Church of the Resurrection. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Kenneth Polanski of Wallingford, a grandson, Mark Polanski, a great grandson, Riley Polanski, and a great granddaughter Alana Polanski. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Polanski and four sisters, Margaret Tower, Helen Valenti, Anna George and Barbara Valenti, and a brother, George Matyas. A graveside service at the In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford was private. If friends so desire, gifts in her memory may be made to the charity of ones choice. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street is in charge of arrangements.
