WALLINGFORD - Harriet H. Kaufmann, 101, of Wallingford and formerly of New Haven, died Sunday, November, 9, 2008 at the Masonic Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Werner Kaufmann. She was born in New Haven, January 12, 1907 a daughter of the late Harry and Martha Shipman Hall. Until her retirement, she was employed as a clerk for Michael's Jewelery for 25 years. She was a member of the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Fair Haven, the Women Federation of theChurch, the Swiss - American Club, the North Haven Historical Society and Fair Haven Chapter # 6 Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, John Kirschner and his wife Martha of North Haven, and a brother, Thomas Hall of Monroe, NC, along with 3 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service celebrating Harriet�s life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Masonic Home, 22 Masonic Ave, Wallingford. Interment was held privately.
