WALLINGFORD - David W. Plucker, 80, of the Masonic Healthcare Center formerly of 60 Hanover St., Meriden died Wednesday, October, 8, 2008 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born in Hartford, August 1, 1928 a son of the late Ernest and Florence Hall Plucker. Until his retirement, he worked in the maintenance department at the Yale Motor Inn. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by two brothers, Ernest Alan Plucker of Fairfield and Vincent V. Plucker of Durham, NC, two sisters, Margaret Anne Osborne of Meriden and Muriel Francis Parker of Rocky Hill and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours and all services will be private. If friends so desire, gifts in his memory may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation, P.O. Box 70, Wallingford 06492. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street is in charge of arrangements.
