Wallingford - Martin "Marty" Rubin, 63, of Wallingford, beloved husband of Susan (Kaitz) Rubin, departed this life on Monday, September 15, 2008. Marty was born on November 9, 1944 in Boston, MA, son of the late Robert and Frances (Eisenman) Rubin. He attended Northeastern University and Yale University. Marty worked for over 35 years as an Independent Insurance Agent. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 38 years Susan of Wallingford and his beloved children: Stephanie Rubin of Meriden and Mike Rubin and his wife Marlene of Meriden. He also leaves one brother Jeffrey Rubin and his wife Marie of NH, along with numerous nieces and nephews, in addition to his best friend "Hunter". Relatives and friends are invited to call on the family at their home located at 6 Old Rock Hill Rd, Wallingford, CT on Thursday from 2 - 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18th at 11 AM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. Interment will follow in the Beth Israel Cemetery in Wallingford. In keeping with Jewish tradition in Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
