MERIDEN � Elsie I. Fuchko, 94, of Meriden, departed this life on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at the Connecticut Baptist Home in Meriden. She was the beloved wife of Russell Jones and later, William Fuchko. Elsie was born in Ridgefield Park, NJ, August 25, 1913 daughter of the late Henry Zollinger, Sr. and Elsie (Palme) Zollinger. Mrs. Fuchko was a graduate of the New Britain Normal School class of 1932, and had been a Meriden resident for 80 years, She was a teacher in the Rocky Hill School System and was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Wallingford. She was a member of the Foundation for Christian Living in Pawling, NY. She is survived by a son David Jones of East Falmouth, MA, two brothers, Henry Zollinger, Jr. of Newton, MA and Robert Zollinger of Wallingford and 4 grandsons, Matthew Cormack of London, England, Andrew Cormack and his wife Betsy of New York, Clayton Jones and his wife Lydia of Falmouth, MA and Peter Jones and his wife Jennifer of Falmouth, MA, along with one great granddaughter, Adelaide Jones. The Wallingford Cremation Service, 273 South Elm St. of Wallingford has been entrusted with arrangements.
