Wallingford - Alfreda "Aleta" Blanche Cocco, 87, of Wallingford, had the angels take her home on Thursday, June 19, 2008 while being surrounded by her loving family. Aleta was born on October 15, 1920 in East Haven, CT, daughter of the late Carl and Pauline (Keenan) Sundwall. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Francine D'Amato and Suzette Jardine both of Wallingford, along with her daughter-in-law Deborah Cocco of Madison. She leaves 4 grandchildren: Stephen Cocco, Yvette Rivera, Karen Janus, and Aleta D'Amato along with 6 great grandchildren: Taylor, Scott, Kimber, Ashley, Joseph, and Cameron. Aleta was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred G. Cocco, and one son A. Gregg Cocco. All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
