Wallingford - Anna Carmel Pelloni, 83, of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late Thomas Pelloni, departed this life peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Anna was born on July 31, 1924, in New Haven, CT, daughter of the late Carmen and Anna (Ferriaola) Sarro. Anna retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield as a chef after over 15 years of service. In earlier years, Anna delighted the residents of Wallingford with her cooking talents in many area restaurants. She was very much a family oriented woman, and loved spending time with her husband, children, and many grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, crochetting, and feeding her friends and family. She will be sadly missed by her children: Thomas Pelloni and his wife Susan of Southington, Rozanne Pelloni of Wallingford, Anthony Pelloni and his wife Donna of RI, James Pelloni and his wife Denice of FL, and Sunday Pelloni of Wallingford. She also leaves two sisters, Estella Ferriaola of Wallingford and Jessie Diamond of Southington, along with two brothers, Michael and Raymond Sarro both of New Haven. She leaves 12 grandchildren: Michelle, Christopher, Kurt, Aleatha, Hillary, Shala, Sommer, Anthony Jr., Thomas, Christina, Jasmine, and Austin. and 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews along with brother-in-laws, George Pelloni and John and Matilda Pelloni. Anna is preceded in death by 3 brothers: Mark, Jackie, and Carmen Sarro. Relatives and friends may call on Monday, June 9, 2008 from 4 - 7 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th at 10 AM in St. John's Cemetery located on Christian Street, in Wallingford.
