Wallingford - Doris L. Olayos, 88, of Wallingford, beloved wife of John Olayos, departed this life on Monday, May 5, 2008 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born on August 6, 1919, in New York, daughter of the late William and Bertha (Kirschner) Wotton. For most of her life Doris was a loving homemaker, raising her family. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Wallingford. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She will be remembered mostly as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be sadly missed by her husband John Olayos of Wallingford, and her daughter, Judith Walz of Wallingford, along with two grandchildren, Christopher Walz and Kathryn Walz. She is preceded in death by her son, Harold Nelson. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 10 AM - 11 AM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in wallingford. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Wallingford.
