Warren A. Semrau, 78, of Wallingford, beloved husband of Nancy (Underwood) Semrau, departed this life on Sunday, February 3, 2008, at Midstate Medical Center. Warren was born on November 5, 1929 in Wallingford, son of the late Albert and Helen (Wustrack) Semrau. Warren attended Lyman Hall High School and later served in the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. For over 30 years he was employed as a welder with Frauhauf Trailer Corporation until his retirement in 1992. Warren was an active member of the New Departure Rod & Gun Club. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be sadly missed by his wife Nancy of Wallingford. His step-daughter, Susan, and step-son, David. He also leaves a brother, Albert Semrau of Florida along with 2 nephews and a niece. He is preceded in death by his sister, Helen Morrotto. At Warren's request all services are being held privately and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
