Obituary of Mabel Wusterbarth

WALLINGFORD – Mabel D. Wusterbarth, 98, of the Skyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of 6 Williams Place and Pond Ridge died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the Skyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Elmer Carl Wusterbarth. She was born in Wallingford, July 28, 1909 a daughter of the late Albert and Charlotte Borghi Dorau. Mrs. Wusterbarth worked for 44 years in the office at the Travelers Insurance Company. She was a life long resident of Wallingford and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Wallingford. She is survived by a sister, Sarah Wolfgang and her husband Gordon of Wallingford, two sisters-in-law, Elsie Dorau and Lois Wusterbarth, 5 nieces, Charlotte Wolfgang Nesdale, Patricia Fogil Renninger, Phyllis Fogil Aaron, Geraldine Dorau Morrisette and Adrianne Dorau Dorsee and 5 Nephews, Gordon Wolfgang, Jr., David Dorau, Peter Dorau, Floyd Fogil, Jr. and David Wusterbarth. She was predeceased by two brothers, Albert Dorau and Ernest Dorau and two sisters, Alice Fogil and Florence Sotak. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 235 Pond Hill Road. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in Meriden. Friends may call at the Zion Lutheran Church on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. If is suggested that gifts in her memory be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 235 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford 06492. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street is in charge of arrangements.
