LAS VEGAS, NV - John Robinson, 66, formerly of New Haven, CT, lost his battle with cancer on April 10, 2016 at the Nathan Adelson Hospice Center. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie (Lynch) Robinson. John was born in New Haven on October 16, 1949 to the late John and Charlotte (Camp) Robinson. He graduated from Eli Whitney Vocational School (1967), joined the USAF where he worked in the motor pool and began his truck driving career. He was employed by Atlantic Trucking of Branford and Schneider National before moving to Las Vegas. In addition to his wife, Marjorie, of 44 years, John is survived by their three children: Morgan Reynolds (Sean), Spring Robinson Lavoie, Annissa Wentworth (Bryan) and two daughters from a previous marriage: Kelly Good (Robert) and Jody Goding, and sisters: Janice Estes, Betsy Liscio and Claire Crotty, 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and others who called him "Dad" and "Grandpa". He was an avid bowler and also enjoyed camping. Friends may call on Thursday, May 5th from 5-7:00 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., Wallingford. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Friday, May 6th at 10 AM at the CT State Veterans' Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
