MERIDEN – Louise Andersen, 81, formerly of Cooper Ave., Wallingford, entered into eternal rest at the Meriden Center on July 15, 2007. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Andersen. She was born in Meriden on November 20, 1925 to the late John and Mildred (Bezanson) Dudley. She had been a very talented creator of cakes for weddings and other occasions. Among those who she created cakes for were several American presidents on their visits to the New London Submarine Base. She is survived by a son, Robert B. Andersen and his wife Mary Ellen of Wallingford, a daughter, Robin Andersen of Massachusetts, four grandchildren, Kristin Nahs, Carrie Ramsey, Katie Andersen, and Courtney Andersen, and three great-grandchildren, Kylie Nahs, Aidan Nahs, and Nicholas Rufino. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Virginia Lee Andersen. A funeral service will be held at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 18, 2007. Burial will follow at the In Memoriam Cemetery.
