I am so glad that I was to relive some of David's childhood stories that he shared when he came up to Midsommer in New Sweden, Me.3 yrs ago. He was such a joy to be with that weekend, to watch him talk to the Swedish singers that came to visit the midsummer that year, it was though he had known them his whole life. The special for us was when they bought him down from the bleachers and had his picture taken with the whole troupe and they give him the flowered wreath that one of them was wearing. He had it on Sunday when he left to go back to Ct., even though the floweres were very droopy. Dick and I fell in love with this sweet gentle man. He was an inspiration to anyone that crossed his path in his lifetime. I am honored we got to know David.
