MERIDEN – Barbara Vanwinkle, 76, formerly of Butler St., entered into eternal rest on June 14, 2007 at the Meriden Center after a brave battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald VanWinkle. She was born in Bridgeport on February 7, 1931, daughter of the late George R. and Lottie Brown. She is survived by two sons Philip VanWinkle and his wife Dee of FL and David VanWinkle and his wife Judy of Middletown, three daughters Susan Henson and her husband Roger of North Haven, Debra Bruzik and her husband Robert of Southington and Karen Lasso and her husband David of Wallingford. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford. Burial will be at the In Memoriam Cemetery of Wallingford. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Monday June 18, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
