WALLINGFORD – Maurice Zecchin, 83, of Pond Ridge, formerly of 3 Carr St., departed this life on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Pond Ridge Assisted Living. He was the husband of the late Margaret Kallaway Zecchin. He was born in Winsted, July 6, 1923, son of the late August and Mary Cerqui Zecchin. Maurice was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Navy. Until his retirement, he was employed at the Pfizer Corporation. He was a parishioner of SS. Peter and Paul's Church in Wallingford and the Marion, OH American Legion Post # 162. He will be sadly missed, by his son, John Zecchin of Marion, OH, two daughters, Deborah L. Blevins and husband James of Marion, OH and Margaret Zecchin of Indianapolis, IN, a sister, Adelaide Zecchin of Winsted, five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may gather at B. C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273, S. Elm Street, for visitation on Saturday, May, 5, 2007 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. A funeral service celebrating Maurice's life will be held directly following visitation at 10:00 AM. Fr. Ron Zepecki of SS. Peter and Paul's Church, will be officiating. Interment will follow in SS.
