WALLINGFORD - Geraldine P. Hanley, 91, widow of T. Stuart Hanley of Wallingford, formerly of Hamden died Friday, February 9, 2007 at the Brook Hollow Healthcare Center in Wallingford. She was born on June 6, 1915 in Boston, Mass, a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Delia (Smyth) Parent. She was a graduate of Trinity College and Catholic University in Washington D.C. She also attended Southern Connecticut State University and Yale University. Before her retirement she was a teacher at West Haven High School for 20 years She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Alliance Francais and New Haven Emblem Club. She was also a member of St. Rita's Church in Hamden for over fifty years. She is survived by a daughter Geraldine Slavin and her husband Edward of Wallingford, four grandchildren Michael Slavin, Kristen Slavin of Wallingford, Dawn and Jamie Hanley of Cooper City Florida three great grandchildren and one brother.. She was predeceased by two brothers, a sister and a son, T. Stuart Hanley Jr. The funeral will leave the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St Wallingford on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. to our Lady of Fatima Church 382 Hope Hill Road Wallingford for a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
