WALLINGFORD – Robert K. Wilks, 90, of 847 North Farms Road died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Allen Wilks. Mr. Wilks was born in Wallingford on August 6, 1916, a son of the late John B. and Jessie Kroeber Wilks. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. Before his retirement he had been an engineer for the former S.N.E.T. Co. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Meriden Ski Club. In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by three sons Robert J. Wilks of Wallingford, Gary T. Wilks of Deland, FL and Jeffrey A. Wilks of Old Saybrook, CT. Three grandchildren Jason G. Wilks, Ashley L. Wilks and Shannon E. Wilks. He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Walter and Julia Wilks. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2006 in the chapel of the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., Wallingford at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home fro 9 to 10:30 a.m. Burial with military honors will be at In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford.
