WALLINGFORD - Nicholas Fekete, 90, of 87 Northfield Road, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Meriden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Irene Tanch Fekete. He was born in Wallingford, August 6, 1916 a son of the late Gabriel and Mary Kobling Fekete. Until his retirement, he was employed as a machinist at the International Silver Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wallingford. He is survived by a son, Nicholas Fekete of Durham, two brothers, Gabriel Fekete and William Fekete both of Wallingford, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by two daughters, Sally Zocco and Marsha Harlan. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Wallingford, 114 North Main St. at 10:30 a.m.. Burial will be at Center Street Cemetery, Wallingford. There are no calling hours. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street is in charge of arrangements.
