Obituary of Frederick A. Bouza Sr.

MIDDLETOWN - Frederick A. Bouza Sr., 87, formerly of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Middlesex Healthcare Center. He was the loving husband of the late Lillian (Rickis) Bouza.

Fred was born on April 6, 1930 in New Haven to the late Nicholas and Madalyne (Misbach) Bouza.

He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family including son: Frederick A. Bouza Jr. (Jodi Scranton) of Wallingford; daughter Jennifer (James) Tuberville of Meriden; and sister: Doris Swidock of Wallingford. In addition Fred leaves behind his grandchildren: Lisa, Andrew, and Erin Tomer, Jacob Bouza, James Jr., Jason, and Jordan Tuberville; and great-grandchildren: Peyton, Austin, Hayley, Landon, Owen, and Avery. He leaves his sister in law Gerrine Gamba of Enfield, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by his brother Nicholas T. Bouza Jr. and his wife Kay.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., in Wallingford. A funeral service will be held immediately after at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery in Wallingford alongside his wife.
