Obituary of Kenneth T. Kowalski

Kenneth (Ken) Kowalski, 75, beloved husband and father, passed unexpectedly on August 5th, 2017 while staying with family on a visit from Florida. He leaves behind his loving wife Elaine (Sochocki) Kowalski after 56 wonderful years of marriage.

Ken was born in Torrington, CT on October 13, 1941 to the late Henry and Alice Kowalski.

Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Army. After his honorable discharge, he worked for many years at United Technologies in CT. He and Elaine retired at age 55 and began a new chapter of their life in Florida. Their homes became a favorite vacation location for their visiting family and friends whom they welcomed with open arms.

In addition to Elaine, the love of his life, Ken leaves behind his beloved son Kevin and his beloved daughter and son-in-law Karen and Tom Grennan. He also leaves behind his three cherished grandchildren Annie (Diane) Kowalski, Andy Kowalski, Katie Kowalski and his former daughter-in-law Kathleen Kowalski. Ken loved his children and grandchildren with all of his heart, and he was always available for love and support.

Ken also shared a very special bond with his brother-in-law Jim Sochocki and his sister-in-law Dale Sochocki. He was especially close to several of his nieces and nephews and their spouses: Amy and Jack, Scott and Christina, Eric and Marie. He loved to spend time with them and his great-nieces and great-nephews. He will forever be remembered in their hearts as simply "Uncle"

His family will receive friends and visitors at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St, Wallingford on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m
