Dave was like a second brother to me growing up. My brother and Dave were the best of friends for as long as I can remember. Dave spent a lot of time with our family at our home and on family vacations.

To Brian, Sue and the Fowler Family: My deepest condolences are with you right now. I considered Dave to be a friend in just the short time we worked together at Hyperion. He was a brilliant man who loved his family and was so proud of Brian. Just the mention of Brian's name would bring a such a smile to Dave's face.I thank God that I feel blessed thatI had the opportunity to meet Dave as he was truly unique. I have learned so much from him and will cherish the memories. Dave was a mentor to me and always seemed to motivate me in some challenging times. He would always have the kindest words to say and was able to show me the positive side of a negative situation. I was truly devasted when I heard the news of Dave's death and struggled with the reality. I have since found peace through prayer and faith that we will meet again. I will never forget how he constantly made me laugh to the point of crying. My prayers are with Dave's family and all who knew and loved him.

Dave handled my recruitment into Hyperion in September 2003. I only knew Dave for a short time, but it was clear from the moment I met him that he had a HUGE heart and a very kind, generous spirit. I will miss him, and I will keep his friends and loved ones in my thoughts and prayers.

I want to send my deepest condolences to David’s wife Susan, his son Brian and the Fowler family. I never met a more intelligent and talented individual. I met David through his brother Ken. Ken has been a long time friend of mine who I consider to be a brother.

My deepest sympathy goes out to David's family and friends. It was my privilege to work with David at priceline.com. Although my time there was brief, David made a huge impression on me professionally and personally. As a manager and friend he was fiercely loyal and supportive. I have so many wonderful memories of Dave it would take me forever to list them. I will miss him and his wonderful sense of humor. Susan and Brian, I never met you but feel as if I know you as David spoke of you constantly. I hope the wonderful memories you have of your short time with David bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I was one of the lives that David's kindness and humor impacted in a huge way, both professionally and personally. David and I had some great times at Priceline.com while we were there, and I cherish every day I had the pleasure of working along side him and the fun times we had. David and I became good friends, and we remained in contact regulary over the years, exchanging Xmas cards and the like. David taught me to approach every day of my life in a positive way and to truly appreciate blessings and challenges equally. He was my mentor, my boss and my friend and while he'll be missed sorely by me in the days and years to come, his positive impact on my life and the lives I touch will be part of his legacy. With much love and condolences to the Fowlers from Paul and Rita.

I worked with David for a while at a record store in New Canaan. Those memories have stayed with me ever since. I had lost touch with him and had thought of him often recently with the hopes of meeting up with him again.

I first met David when priceline was a small but quickly growing start-up. At times the work environment could become extremely stressful and David was always available to help put things back into perspective with a great joke or a knowing smile. He was an amazing person and I am grateful that I had the chance to become friends with him.

I am so sorry to hear about David. We were next door neighbors when we were kids. He was so funny and caring. He and his family were very important in my childhood. I feel a real sadness that he died so young and I wish nothing but lots of warm fuzzies to Susan, Brian and his family. He will be miss greatly by many people. In loving memory Carola Smith and family.
