Obituary of Linda Jean Waterman

WALLINGFORD - Linda Waterman, 65, departed this life on October 1, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Aaron S. Waterman and loving mother of Aaron Waterman both of Wallingford.

Linda was born in Hartford, CT on November 10, 1951 to Lillian (Magnon) Bradshaw and the late Earl Bradshaw. She spent her younger years growing up in East Hartford and later attended Manchester Community College to become a licensed hairdresser.

For many years she was the proud owner of Simmy’s Haircutters in Northford, CT. Throughout those years she made many friends and faithful clients because of her dedication and love for her career. Although, after many years, she sold ownership of her business, she stilled remained there as an employee.

Besides her husband and son, Linda is survived a step-son, Michael Apuzzo, her mother, Lillian Bradshaw of FL, her brother, William (Katherine) Bradshaw of CT and her father-in-law, Harold Waterman of Wallingford. She also leaves behind two brother-in-laws; Harold (Kathy) Waterman of MA and Samuel Waterman of Wallingford and a sister-in-law, Sarah (Franz) Joseph of CO. She was predeceased in life by her father, Earl Bradshaw and her mother-in-law, Sharon Waterman of Wallingford.

A visitation for Linda will be held on Friday, October 6th from 4-7pm at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7pm.
