Obituary of Catherine Schnakenberg

CHESHIRE - Catherine Schnakenberg, 100, formerly of Wallingford, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Elim Park Rehabilitation Center in Cheshire. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry D. Schnakenberg Sr.

Catherine was born on September 25, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Gaetano and Desiderata (Catenacci) Mulle.

She will be missed by her son Henry (Jennifer) Schnakenberg of Wallingford; grandchildren: Abygail and Bryan Schnakenberg; and great-grandchildren: Jayden Buntin and Celiyah Schnakenberg. Catherine was predeceased by her parents; brothers: Joseph Mulle, John Mulle, Anthony Mulle; and sister: Ann Burke.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St. in Wallingford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated immediately after at 11:00 AM at Church of the Resurrection in Wallingford. Interment will take place at In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford.
