Obituary of Theresa Ann Cholefsky

WALLINGFORD - Theresa Ann Cholefsky, age 92, of Wallingford, CT, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2018. Terry was employed at the Federal Reserve Bank in NYC prior to commencing her work as bookkeeper at the Wallingford Housing Authority. She was the devoted wife of the late John Cholefsky and daughter of the late Frank and Lena (Poggi) Helrigel. She is survived by her son, Michael Cholefsky, daughter, Linda, and son-in-law, Gerald Raby. She is also survived by her brother, John “Jackie” (Doris) Helrigel. Terry will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Candace Gura and fiancé, Brandon Husband, Laura (Joseph) Ondyak, Kristen (Michael) Piscioneri, Cathleen (Nicholas) Bazzano, and Mark Cholefsky. She will be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Kyle, Daniel, Emily, Claudia, Mason, Lauren, Evan, Ryan and Jonathan.

Her family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the loving staff and friends at Masonicare. During the past year that Terry spent at Masonicare, she said daily, that she felt like she had “died and gone to Heaven”.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7PM on Wednesday, January 10th, at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford. Burial will be private.
