Obituary of Ruth Lipka

WALLINGFORD - Ruth Lipka, 91, of Wallingford, was called to her eternal resting place on January 5, 2018. She was the beloved wife to Sigmund Alexander Lipka.

Ruth was born on November 25, 1926, to the late Richard and Lily (Whear) Cook. In addition to her husband Sigmund, she is survived by her two daughters; Susan Stevenson (Bradford) and Marilyn Nalewajek (Hank); and her two sons; Edward Lipka (Regina) and Barry Lipka. Ruth also leaves behind eight loving grandchildren; Cassandra Leite (Walter), Joel Nalewajek (Adrienne), Adam Nalewajek, Alex Lipka (Becky), Melanie Cooper, Andrea Graichen (Randy), Brad Stevenson (Katie) and Zachary Stevenson and his fiancee, Linda Cody, as well as several great-grandchildren.

A caring soul, Ruth spent her life as a registered nurse and worked for many years at Wallingford Convalescent Home. She will be sorely missed by her loving family and all who knew her.
