Obituary of Edward Joseph Jansury
WALLINGFORD - Edward Joseph Jansury, Sr., 81, was called to his eternal resting place on January 11, 2018.
He entered this world on October 14, 1936 in Long Beach, CA, born to the late Stanley and Victoria Jansury. Edward served in the Army from 1959 to 1962, and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Edward is survived by his beloved spouse Sylvia (Pike) Jansury; by a son Edward Jansury, Jr. and wife Pamela; and a daughter Barbara VanHise and husband Daniel. He will be missed by his grandchildren: Laurel Brophy and husband Doug, Timothy Jansury, Catherine Jansury, Sarah Jansury, Seth VanHise and wife Bailey, Meghan VanHise, Sean VanHise, Kristen VanHise, Shannon VanHise, Erin VanHise, and Brendan VanHise. He is also survived by his sister MaryAnn Barber; a sister in law Nancy Dobrindt and husband Howard; and a brother in law Raymond Pike Edward is godfather to Michele Herget, Janice Colandrea and Sarah Abbott.
