Obituary of Marilyn Nancy Maclary

WALLINGFORD - Marilyn Maclary, 85, departed this life on February 11, 2018 at the Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. Marilyn was born in Brockton, MA on May 29, 1932 to the late Ralph and Muriel (Ellis) Anderson.

She spent most of her early years in Hanover, MA and later began her career as an elementary school teacher in Rhode Island. Years later she worked at Merriam Motors and Cunneen Parish Fundraising.

Marilyn is survived by her three loving children: Carole Maclary and Doug Maclary, both of Wallingford and Nancy Maclary of Meriden. She also leaves behind her sister Barbara Moriarty of Florida. Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister Helen Trudy Vitous. She will be deeply missed by her family, her faithful cat, Scooter and all of the stray animals that she cared for over the years.
