Obituary of Linda Louise Hodkevics

Rocky Hill - Linda Hodkevics, 74, passed away on February 19, 2018. Linda was born in New Haven, CT on May 28, 1943 to the late Arthur and Jean (Bond) Cox. She was predeceased by her son Paul.

Linda grew up in Wallingford and was a long-time resident of both Tolland and Rocky Hill. She enjoyed helping others in her career as an Occupational Therapist and retired from the Connecticut Veteran's Home and Hospital in Rocky Hill.

Linda loved spending time outdoors, including walking, gardening, bird watching, and visiting Hammonasset Beach, which was always followed by a trip to Lenny and Joe's Restaurant. She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends and loved to make people laugh. Her love for traveling brought her to many wonderful places including the Caribbean, Hawaii, and Europe.

Linda is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law Kris and Dane Johnston of Hamden and her brother Frederick Cox and his wife Linda of Meriden. She also leaves behind her niece, Jennifer Neville and her husband Joseph and their children Allison, Ethan, and Ryan of Meriden.
