Obituary of Francis E. Lewis

On Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Lakeland, Florida, Francis E. Lewis (husband, father, brother, uncle and friend) passed away after living a long and enjoyable life at the age of 87.

Francis is survived by his wife and best friend Carolyn-Hope and his seven children: Francis (and wife Susan) Lewis, Ruth (and husband Rick) Cabrera, Jane (and husband Anthony) Gargaly, James Lewis, Richard Lewis, Heather Lewis and Patricia Lewis.  Francis is also survived by three brothers: Kenneth (and wife Jean), Walter (and wife Beverly) and John (and wife Brenda - pre-deceased), and his in-laws: David (and wife Marjorie) Smith and was predeceased by June (and husband Donald) Rice.  Francis also had and loved 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Fran was born July 6, 1930 in New Haven, Connecticut to Kenneth and Bessie Lewis. He became a Korean War Veteran while serving in the United States Army.  Francis lived in Connecticut working as a security guard for many years before changing his residence to Lakeland, Florida where he attended Family Worship Center.
