Obituary of Georgia E. Gale
WALLINGFORD - Georgia E. Gale, 74, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, 2018 surrounded by her family.
She was born in New Haven, CT on September, 16, 1943 to the late George P. and Ruby (Wilson) Gale. Georgia worked throughout her life for a number of area companies as an administrative assistant, but her most fulfilling accomplishment was raising her daughters. She loved spending time with her family, as well as taking part in some of her many hobbies like gardening, bowling, reading, knitting, and road trips with her sister.
Georgia will be sadly missed by her three daughters: Sandra (John) Arnold of Wallingford, Donna (John) Funk of SC, and Sherry (Kevin) Byczynski of Meriden; her sister: Barbara J. Gale of FL; her grandchildren: Brain Thompson, Adam Byczynski, Jade Arnold, Tanya Arnold, George Funk, John Arnold, Jose Garcia, Adrian Hernandez, and Caleb Ortiz. She also leaves behind many great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Besides her parents, Georgia was predeceased by her brother Richard B. Gale.
