A tribute, Our parents introduced us before I can remember about 3 years old, I remember all our Cub Scout meetings at your house, and camping in your backyard as kids. We built tree forts explored mountains crawled through drainage pipes, fished ponds, practiced survival living off the land . we lived daily in the outdoors after school. I remember our Vermont trips, helping your dad build the camp I and rewarded with letting us shoot the .22 rifle. It and was one of my favorite places to visit throughout life. So many memories from my childhood included you Russ . We were inseparable until our teens and stayed in contact practically daily until the day you died. There's never a good time to go but it was so unexpected it was almost surreal. Throughout life you were always there to help, whether it be working on cars building things home improvements , when I was down you offered suggestions like come up to Vermont and ice fish dog sled snowmobile collect maple syrup. Gold panning, It's hard to believe you're gone Russ. You'll be forever missed and a huge piece of my life forever. My deepest condolences to all who knew you and loved you, especially Jessica, Tania, Toisha and so many of our close mutual friends. God bless, Godspeed, and rest in peace in the light , warmth and love I'm sure you are experiencing in heaven.
