Dear Mary, Tom and Family,
My condolences on the passing of your dear mother. Mary, I remember visiting you one Saturday when we were still in high school, playing monopoly most of the afternoon, and staying for dinner to eat your Mom's New England boiled dinner. I remember that meal all these years later- probably because it was my first New England boiled dinner and my recollection is that it was very tasty!
I also remember your Mom as being very welcoming to me - a quiet and sweet presence.
May you all take solace in the many memories you shared with her during her very long life.
